Revised first select list of Assistant Operator / Line Helper (Jr. Technician) "Trainee"
Terms & Conditions :
1. The selection and appointment of candidate will be subject to outcome of Special Leave Petition (SLP) 22545/09 filed by Shri. Bapusaheb D. Gitte and others V/s. State of Maharashtra and others.
2. The selection of the candidates is purely on provisional basis subject to conforming of the pre-requisites and other conditions notified in the advertisement. If it is found that any candidate is not meeting the requirement of pre-requisites or not fulfilling any of the conditions, his selection is liable to be cancelled.
3. The select list will not confer any right on the candidates for appointment.
4. The candidate shall report to the office of Chief Engineer, EHV CC O&M Zone, Nagpur on 2nd and 3rd November 2009 alongwith original documents. On reporting they will be allotted to respective offices under the jurisdiction of EHV CC O&M Zone, Nagpur as per vacancies and reservation position. The Appointing Authorities will issue appointment letter with detailed Terms & Conditions and posting order.
5. The reserved category candidates who have been selected on merit are treated as selected against 'Open' category.
6. Maharashtra State Public Services (Reservation for Scheduled Castes, Schedule Tribes, Denotified Tribes (Vimukta Jatis), Nomadic Tribes, Special Backward Class and Other Backward Classes) Act.2001 has been enforced by the Govt. of Maharashtra from 29th January, 2004. As per the provisions under Sub-section 2 (ii) of Section-4 of this Act, the principle of Creamy-Layer has been made applicable to all categories except Schedule Castes and Scheduled Tribes i.e. VJ (A), NT (B), NT(C), NT(D) SBC, OBC & Woman category. The candidates should produce a caste certificate from appropriate authority as prescribed by the Govt. of Maharashtra vide Circular No. CBC-10/2006/PK15/BCR5 dated 5/6/2006, showing that they are not covered under the concept of “Creamy Layer”.
7. As per Government Resolution No.CBC-10/2003/PK91/BCR-5 dt. 8.12.2003, the candidates for claiming the benefit of reservation under SC, ST, VJA, NTB, NTC, NTD, Spl.BC & OBC categories, they should produce a caste certificate alongwith Caste Validity Certificate issued by Caste Scrutiny Committee. However, as per Govt. Resolution No.CBC-10/2003/PK91/BCR-5 dt. 28.01.2004 read with Govt. Resolution CBC-10/2003/PK91/BCR-5 dt. 04.02.2004 the candidates without validity certificate will be given appointment (except ST Candidates) subject to production of Caste Validity Certificate within the period of 6 months.
8. The reservation for the Physically Handicapped Persons, Ex-Servicemen and Women etc. has been considered.
9. The vacancies against reservation of Project Affected Persons (PAPs) are earmarked and the same will be filled in separately as per chronology maintained by the Collector.
